Kathy Ries
Kathy Ries has practiced shamanism since 2001. She achieved her shamanic initiation in 2006. The same year, she was also initiated by Nepali shaman Aama Bombo, a member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. Kathy’s support for Sacramento Shamanic Center and its community has been significant and on-going.
With Spirit’s guidance, Kathy and fellow shaman, Dara Harvey, developed two powerful healing circles: The Divine Path of Anger and Golden Path of Wholeness. In addition to healing and other shamanic services, Kathy enthusiastically leads both The Divine Path of Anger and Golden Path of Wholeness and is a qualified leader of the Six-Month Self-Healing Circle.
From 2008-2014, guided by Spirit, she returned to graduate school and completed the coursework and supervised hours to be licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A dedicated healer, Kathy’s two practices (psychotherapy and shamanism) are in San Rafael, California.
